表現力をつけたり、英語を忘れないようにするため、定期的に
1つのテーマについて、短いエッセイを書くことを勧められたことがある。
ジャーナリズムの先生やったかな。私は言語学に行ったけど
たまに思いだしてこことかで書くことがあったりなかったり。

dependence
i feel uneasy when i am not reflected -e.g. no reply in short messages
this is because i am dependent on the literal answers to know what
people around me think about me
althogh the essence of human communication is not always based on those things
it is risky to rely too much on the answers you can see or hear
as it will weaken your power to sence what people are really thinking or feeling
and at the same time it is very dangerous to depend too much on non-verbal communications
it is still the words which can express your feeling or intention exactly in the form
all other people will be able to understand

語学系の学生は、割と言葉に敏感になりがち。やけど、相手からの言葉に頼って
自分で考えたり察したりすることを怠けてしまうようでは多分いけないのやと。
